With a commendable rating of 4 stars, this charming hotel promises warmth and hospitality from the moment guests arrive. The welcoming demeanor of the owner sets a positive tone that resonates throughout the entire property.

Guests rave about the cleanliness and coziness of the rooms. Each space is thoughtfully decorated, providing a relaxing ambiance perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The attention to detail in the room upkeep demonstrates a dedication to guest comfort.

From the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed by the hotel owner – a very kind and friendly person. We had a pleasant conversation, which set a positive tone for our entire stay. The room was spotlessly clean, nicely decorated, and very cozy. We spent a lovely and relaxing time there. Later, we went for dinner and really enjoyed it – the food was delicious, and the staff in the restaurant were very friendly and attentive. In the morning, we had breakfast – a classic English breakfast served buffet-style, so we could help ourselves. Some hot dishes were brought to us by a kind lady, including tasty eggs, bacon, sausages, and other delicious items. Although we stayed only one night, we had a truly enjoyable experience. Five stars from us for the hospitality, cleanliness, comfort, and food. We definitely recommend this hotel to everyone!

Lovely hotel and super friendly staff. Would throughly recommend. The only thing is, there are only two gentlemen running everything, exceptionally well.( reception, restaurant, cooking meals and serving at the bar) they definately need to recruit more staff to give these two a break

Recently renovated and under new ownership. Ali and Peter are working hard to get the kitchen and menu fine tuned. Offering good standard meals and a very nice Tikka Masala. Breakfast is very good as well. Alyssa and Charlotte run the bar like a well oiled machine and Stuart helps out as well as being the Night Porter. Mark is always busy behind the scenes keeping everything together and with running the office. During my 4 night stay, I had a great time and there were a lot of different nationalities staying at the Hotel. They are a bit understaffed at the moment but work very hard. I would recommend this place as a base for a short break and hiking or a business trip.
